A recent transplant from Pittsburgh, Kristine continues her active performing schedule as flutist with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra, as well as being a frequent guest flutist with Choro Loco, and Chicharra Tango. She has performed in Pittsburgh with the Westmoreland Symphony, Incidental Chamber Players, the Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, and OvreArts Ensemble. For four years, she taught 30+ flutists at the Hope Academy of Music in Pittsburgh, having many of them successfully audition into the Creative and Performing Arts Middle and High School.
In addition to her role as Teaching Artist at SMP, Kristine maintains several private teaching studios around the city, and provides support to Seattle elementary school band directors through the Michael J. Owens Music Education Fund. She also serves as the Membership Chair of the Seattle Flute Society.
Kristine holds a Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University and Bachelor of Music from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
