Kristine Rominski
Based in the Seattle area, Kristine performs as flutist with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra, the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra, and Fremont Philharmonic. With special interest in Brazilian choro and Argentine Tango, she frequently performs as guest flutist with Choro Loco, Um Mundo Choro, and Chicharra Tango. She performed in Pittsburgh with the Westmoreland Symphony, Incidental Chamber Players, and OvreArts Ensemble. An enthusiastic Teaching Artist, Kristine is the flute coach for Seattle Music Partners, Michael J. Owens Music Education Fund, and the Seattle Chamber Music Society. She teaches privately at Meter Music School and her home studio. Kristine also serves as the Membership Chair for the Seattle Flute Society. She holds a Master of Music from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in flute performance.
