Tracey graduated with a degree in Psychology and Business Administration from Seattle University in 2015. While volunteering at Bailey Gatzert Elementary for a college course, she discovered Seattle Music Partner's after school program and decided that she had to get involved. Four years of SMP tutoring later, she is taking on a new role in the organization and excited for the upcoming changes and challenges of being a Teaching Artist.
Tracey has been playing flute for over 10 years. In that time, flute has been her way of expressing her "inner voice," developing her identity, and connecting with likeminded individuals. Tracey is also passionate about working with teens and young adults as they explore their emerging identity's and their impact in their communities. In this upcoming year, she hopes that she can share the inner confidence and passion for music education that SMP has shown her to this year's students and tutors.
